Our Apartment :)

Our cute kitchen

Shawn looks confused....I already forgot what he was confused about!

And our little refrigerator :)

If I had a rockin' drying rack like this maybe I'd use my dryer less!

A washing machine!!!! Too bad we're only staying here a few days...I hope our next place has one! Last trip we hand washed clothes and I kissed my washer and dryer when we returned!!

Love the sailboats on the shower curtain :)

And the bedroom

"I was stalking bolgger this morning waiting for a post :) If your up for it.... I'd like to donate $5.00 each day you blog about your adventures. Maybe others will join in and do the same to help cover some of the costs that go along with international adoption :) Glad you arrived safely and have a nice place to stay.. Oh I cant wait... I want to see this sweetie."

If anyone else was up for this that'd be awesome! We have free internet in this apartment but not sure what we will have when we get to baby girl's region. Thanks LittleLola :) And we can't wait to see her either!!!! I'm so excited just for our SDA appointment on Monday so we can hear her name and birth date and maybe see another picture of her!!!!

Please know that your encouraging comments mean so very much to us now more than ever! For Zoya's adoption they were our lifeline, so leave us some love!

  3. Looks like a nice place :) Im going right now and adding $5.00 to your fund.... Keep the posts coming! Im living vicariously through you in hopes that one day I can take a similar path as you. If I could go tomorrow I would but being pregnant and having a 1 year old is not going to give me the option of adopting at this time in my life. Enjoy a few days in the city... and prepare for a life changing experience. So So Close..... Ill be stalking this site daily :) Not only can't I wait to see pictures of this little love I can't wait to see all the images of Zoya with the baby... This is going to be the cutest thing EVER

Today, I am praying for peace on your little girls' heart! These are some big changes for all of you, and the Lord is guiding you every step of the way. He sets the lonely in families, and I praise Him every day for that! I hope you get the chance to whisper Gods love into some ears of those little ones over there! Keep us updated!

  7. Hey!! Your apartment looks familiar :) We had it 2 weeks ago as we were finishing up our adoption. Is it still super stinky?? Hope not! It was so bad for us it was miserable.

Looking forward to following the rest of your journey!

  12. Glad you arrived safely--hopefully you both have gotten some rest and the jet lag isn't too bad! So excited to read about your newest little angel! And already missing posts re: your sweet Zoya--so I can only imagine how much her mama and daddy miss her! Can't wait to hear your new little one's name--I've been "guessing" within my own mind the various names that go well with Zoya lol! Continuing to pray for you all!

  13. Haha! The rack works wonderfully, except when you have to fit clothes for 7 adults on it for 3 weeks! :)

Enjoying your updates and can't wait till you meet your sweet girl! :)

  14. Thanks for the pictures. It helps in praying to visualize where you are. You are in my prayers as you step out of the boat into another great adventure. Our God is greater and He has great plans for you.

  15. Oh my word! That drying rack looks just like the one we had in Serbia and I LOVED IT!!! I said the same thing about using my dryer less if I had one back home. Our clothes dried so quickly on it and it fit an entire load. Ahhh, memories. :)

  16. If you have an IKEA near you, you can get the drying rack there! I just bought 2 and it saved me over $40 this summer!

  19. Well you are right...giving a little love by leaving comments is a lifesaver. So you can count me in for leaving comments. Sometimes you wonder if anyone is even out there. I finally figured out how to get one of those widget things on my blog. I know people read the blogs, but it helps you to keep blogging if people leave comments. With the widget atleast I know someone is stopping by....liking the pictures of your apartment, but I will really be liking the pictures of your little girl when you get to her. Hope you all get some rest. It was always so hard for me to sleep when we were traveling. So, I left you a letter instead of a comment.
