Nothing much new to post. They are hopeful that they can extubate Mila bean tomorrow morning but that all depends on how the night goes. She's sporting a big pink bow and looking a little more like herself. '
Here is a shot of Mila after they temporarily took her off the paralytic this morning....she had everyone laughing, but this is her favorite pose!
Once Miss Mila is off the vent and looking a bit better I'll post some pictures of her beautiful face :) Keep the prayers coming!! Thanks for all the love!

Yay Mila! It is so hard to see little ones sick, but she will get better so fast....kids have amazing powers of recovery.
ReplyDeleteThanks for updating so often. You all are in my prayers.
Oh those legs!!!! Love that girl of yours!!!! Praying, Praying, Praying!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeletePraying for your darling girl! Thankful she is pulling through!!
ReplyDeleteI love that girl:-)
ReplyDeleteI love the pose but I love the chunky legs even more!! Who would ever know that she spent the first months of her life in an orphanage!!! So glad things are better as of this last post. Praying so hard for extubation in the morning! But I am glad they are being cautious. Can't wait to see pics of that gorgeous little face again! How is Zoya holding up with Aunt Jen? I'm sure she and Xavier are keeping things hopping at home! Get some sleep!

So happy to hear she is doing well! I am a high risk OB. We delivered a baby with Down syndrome and AV canal this week (he did awesome, and had all the residents, attendings and nurses commenting on how cute he was!), as well as a baby today with a severe heart defect (he does not have Down syndrome)...both these babies made me think of Mila. So happy she is doing well. CT surgeons, guided by God of course, do amazing work.
ReplyDeletePraying for a smooth night for Mila and rest for you and Shawn, tomorrow is another day again prayers and love sent from CT

ReplyDeleteSo glad she seems to be herself, lol. Love that picture. I think it shows her resillience well. Keep strong for her.
ReplyDeleteSoo cute!! Been praying and will continue too!!
ReplyDeleteThat girl must have some serious muscle to hold her legs up that way for any length of time. You guys will be in serious trouble when she starts walking! ;)
ReplyDeleteYour sweet little Mila is in my prayers, and prayers for mommy too that you can get some rest :) I know how hard it is when you have a little one in the hospital!

I've come back and looked at this post 3 or 4 times now! It just cracks me up! I just know the anyone who walked into her room/area got a good giggle from those little legs!
ReplyDeleteI pray that she had a good night tonight and can be extubated today. I know you can't wait to get her back in your arms and love on her some more! Can't wait to see those pink cheeks! :-)
Awwww what a relief to hear the extubation went well. You're all in my thoughts & prayers. These pictures of Mila cracked me up. What a cutie jelly bean she is.
